Cao Bang improves the quality of dialogue and collective negotiation

On May 11, the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation organized a thematic conference on implementing democracy at the grassroots level and improving the quality of collective labor agreements with the participation of more than 80 key trade union officials.

In the context of increasingly new requirements for labor relations, strengthening dialogue and collective bargaining is considered an important solution to limit disputes, protect workers' rights and build a stable working environment.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation Be Dang Khoa emphasized the role of trade unions in grasping the thoughts and aspirations of workers, and at the same time improving dialogue and negotiation skills at enterprises.

At the conference, delegates were informed by legal expert Nguyen Hoang Mai - Chief Lecturer of Trade Union University of many key contents related to democracy regulations and dialogue at the workplace; process of organizing employee conferences; negotiation and signing skills of collective labor agreements.

Delegates also focused on discussing solutions to improve the quality of collective bargaining at enterprises; skills to handle situations arising in labor relations; experience in building collective labor agreements with many terms of higher benefits than legal regulations.

The training content closely follows the 2019 Labor Code, the Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots level in 2022 and related guiding documents.

Thereby, helping trade union officials update knowledge and improve skills. The conference also spent time for groups to discuss and practice handling practical situations to improve their ability to apply to trade union activities at the grassroots level.

At the same time, trade union officials are guided to strengthen grasping the situation of union members and workers through dialogues, employee conferences and the column "Workers ask - Trade Unions answer" on the Electronic Information Page of the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation.

Through the training class, the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation expects the team of trade union officials to continue to promote their proactive and creative role in implementing grassroots democracy regulations.

Improve the effectiveness of negotiation, signing and supervision of the implementation of collective labor agreements, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
