An FDI enterprise in Thanh Hoa has decided to spend more than 5 billion VND to organize a New Year's Meal for 13,000 workers at a luxury restaurant.

On January 9, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that, implementing the plan of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor on organizing activities for the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026 and the Tet Sum Vay program, in order to promote the care of workers during the coming of Tet and Spring, the company's Board of Directors has coordinated with the Trade Union Executive Committee to develop a plan to organize "Yar Meal" for workers in 2026.

According to Mr. Quang, the Year-end Meal is an opportunity for the company to express gratitude and thank the contributions of employees in 2025, while also demonstrating the Board of Directors' concern for the team of staff and employees who have always accompanied, worked hard, and contributed to achieving positive results in production and business activities.

Through this event, the enterprise hopes to create a warm and cohesive space, thereby encouraging and motivating employees to continue to strive, joining hands to build a stable and developed company in 2026. The annual meal was attended by all 13,000 workers working at two facilities of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd.

The venue is at Royal Palace and White Palace restaurants, Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province. Each meal is worth 400,000 VND/person, with a total cost of more than 5 billion VND. The time of organization on Sundays is divided into two time frames: Morning from 10:30 to 12:30 and afternoon from 17:30 to 16:30, starting from January 4 to February 7, 2026.

"Organizing a New Year's Meal for up to 13,000 people is not easy. However, with the goal of creating a cozy, united and meaningful atmosphere during the coming of Tet and Spring, we have planned early, closely coordinated with relevant units, and carefully prepared the steps to make the parties take place safely, effectively and happily" - Mr. Quang said.

Workers feel very warm

According to the Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd., this is not the first time the enterprise has organized a party for all workers.

Previously, in May 2025, on the occasion of Workers' Month, the company and the Trade Union held a gratitude party for 13,000 workers. Continuing this activity, the enterprise continues to organize the New Year's Eve party to take care of the material and spiritual life of workers.

In addition to the New Year's Eve party, on the occasion of the New Year, the company gave gifts of cooking oil to 13,000 employees. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, the enterprise will continue to organize the Tet Sum Vay program, the Company's Trade Union will give Tet gifts to all workers.

In addition, the company carries out the 13th month salary bonus and annual leave payment at the rate of 300%.

According to many workers working at Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd., over the years, the enterprise has been assessed as a unit that has implemented well the regimes and policies for employees.
