Warm New Year's Meals for Union Members and Workers in Ninh Binh

Every time Tet comes, workers look forward to gathering with their families and relatives, but not everyone has the conditions to return home for Tet. Understanding this, Trade Unions at all levels in Ninh Binh province have coordinated with units and enterprises to organize year-end meals for union members and workers in a solemn and warm atmosphere.

In the last days of this year, hundreds of workers in industrial parks and clusters in Ninh Binh province can live in the atmosphere of welcoming spring early with folk games, performances and warm New Year's Eve meals.

As one of the first units in Ninh Binh to organize the program "Tet Sum Vay Xuan An Dang 2026" The Board of Directors of Goryo Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Gia Van Industrial Cluster, Ninh Binh) has coordinated with the Gia Van Commune Trade Union to organize for hundreds of employees at the Company to participate in folk games, organize 0 VND booths, year-end meals... creating a joyful and warm atmosphere after a year of hard work.

Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung (worker at Goryo Vietnam Co., Ltd.) shared: "I have worked at the Company for more than 4 years, every day the staff in the Company eat together. However, the year-end meals always bring special emotions. Everyone seems to forget all work and worries in life to have fun and gather together".

Mr. Dinh The Hung - Chairman of the Gia Van Commune Trade Union said that organizing a year-end meal at the end of the year is very meaningful, an opportunity for workers to sit together and hope for a new year of better work and better income.

"In addition to eating year-end meals, workers can also participate in folk games, cultural and artistic activities, lucky draws, discount purchases, etc. The Commune Union also coordinated with the Company's Board of Directors to give meaningful gifts to workers in difficult circumstances" - Mr. Hung shared.

It has become a practice that every time Tet comes and Spring comes, trade unions at all levels in Ninh Binh province focus resources to implement activities to care for union members and workers. In particular, the highlight is the "Tet Sum Vay" program launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, which has become a particularly meaningful activity of the Trade Union Organization.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026, since the beginning of November, the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor has developed a plan to implement activities to care for union members and workers. At the same time, direct commune, ward and grassroots trade unions to promote propaganda activities, mobilize leaders of agencies, units and enterprises to arrange funds to care for cases of workers in difficult circumstances and those who have work-related accidents. Organize buses to take and pick up workers to their hometowns to celebrate Tet, prioritize those in difficulty or who have not returned home for Tet for many years...

Ms. Le Thi Hoa - Vice President of Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that in addition to activities to care for union members and workers, from now until the Lunar New Year 2026, the Provincial Federation of Labor will actively coordinate with relevant units to urge and supervise the payment of salaries and Tet bonuses by enterprises in accordance with the plan that has been made public to workers. At the same time, direct the team of union officials to closely follow the grassroots, promptly report the opinions and wishes of workers to dialogue with employers, prevent labor disputes, especially the situation of collective work stoppages on days before Tet.
