Organizing a Union Meal for 2,500 workers in Dong Nai
Dong Nai - Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company's Trade Union organized a Trade Union Meal for 2,500 union members and workers.
On December 25, the Trade Union of Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company organized a Trade Union Meal for union members and workers with a meal worth 70,000 VND/meal.
According to the record, in addition to salty dishes (garlic shrimp, squid, bone soup and yogurt), there are also vegetarian dishes (vehit meat, tofu with straw mushroom, vegetarian beef stir-fried, soup and yogurt).
According to Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company, this activity helps to show gratitude, connect employees with the company and is also a recognition of the efforts that employees have worked for over the past year.
Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company (Thong Nhat Commune, Dong Nai Province) specializes in garment production with more than 2,500 employees.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang - Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Industrial Parks Trade Union, this is the first unit in the province to organize the Trade Union Year's Meal.
Previously, in October 2025, the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor also announced that all levels of the province's Trade Unions will organize a Trade Union Meal on the occasion of Binh Ngo New Year in 2026 to take care of Tet for union members and workers.
The value of the meal at the Union Meal is 70,000 VND/meal from the financial resources of the grassroots Union and the value from the funding of the enterprise or other socialized sources, if any.
The participants are union members, employees at enterprises, representatives of employers, representatives of higher-level trade unions, representatives of sponsors, professional leaders...
In case the grassroots trade union does not have enough resources, the unit will prepare a report and send it to the Provincial Federation of Labor for consideration and funding support.
The Union New Year's Meal is an opportunity for union members, employers, leaders of local governments and authorities to share and confidently create an atmosphere of solidarity and understanding; thereby, creating trust and attachment of union members and workers to the Union organization and enterprises.
