Article 5. Health check-up before work

1. The health examination before work is carried out in accordance with the content of the Health Examination Form before work is arranged according to the form prescribed in Appendix II issued with this Circular.

In case the employee has been given a periodic health check-up, a health examination certificate and is still valid according to the provisions of Circular No. 32/2023/TT-BYT dated December 31, 2023 of the Minister of Health detailing a number of articles of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, a specialist examination shall be conducted according to the provisions of Clause 2 of this Article.

2. Depending on the working position of the employee, the practitioner of occupational medical examination and treatment prescribes a specialist examination suitable for the harmful factors at the working position.

3. Conduct paraclinical tests (testing, imaging diagnosis, functional exploration) when prescribed by the practitioner to suit the harmful factors at the workplace.

In addition, the health examination records before work is based on Article 4.

Article 4. Health check-up documents before work

1. An employer's introduction letter according to the form prescribed in Appendix I issued with this Circular. In case the labor facility has many people having to undergo a health check-up before being assigned to work, the employer shall make a list and fill in information about the job, work to be prepared for arrangement, and harmful factors at the workplace and send it with the Introduction Certificate.

2. The health examination form before work is according to the form prescribed in Appendix II issued with this Circular.
