Subjects undergo health examination before work
Subjects undergo health examination before being assigned to work according to Circular 56/2025/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry of Health has issued Circular 56/2025/TT-BYT guiding occupational disease management effective from February 15, 2026.
Chapter II of Circular 56/2025/TT-BYT stipulates health examination before work as follows:
Subjects undergo health examination before work
The subjects of health examination before being assigned to work are employees falling under the provisions of Clause 3, Article 21 of the Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene No. 84/2015/QH12.
Compared with Clause 3, Article 21 of the Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene No. 84/2015/QH13, it is specifically stipulated as follows:
Employers organize health check-ups for employees before arranging for work and before switching to more arduous, toxic, or dangerous jobs or after a work accident or occupational disease that has recovered their health and continues to work, except in cases where the Medical Council has assessed the level of reduced working capacity.
Thus, workers in the above case are subject to health check-ups before being assigned to work.
