On December 7, 2024, in Hanoi, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held a conference to disseminate and implement the lifelong learning program among workers
Attending and reporting at the conference was comrade Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the General Confederation of Labor. Also attending were comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation and more than 100 concurrently holding grassroots union officials in the area.
Speaking to grassroots union officials, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor affirmed: lifelong learning has become the order of the times. The most effective way to avoid becoming a backward is to self-updated and self-study for life.
We need to always be ready to learn new things, uphold the spirit of self-study for life to adapt better when the world is constantly changing when old technologies, old lifestyles, old thinking, and old ways of doing things will be eliminated and eliminated - comrade Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized.
At the conference, delegates were also instructed by reporters on skills to implement the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers and informed about new points in the revised Trade Union Law recently passed by the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.
