Don't leave workers alone before the "storm" of information

Assessing the role of the working class, Party documents affirm that workers are the leading force in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. Reports from the Statistics Department and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor indicate that, out of a total of more than 52.7 million employed workers nationwide, the industrial and construction sector currently attracts nearly 18 million direct workers.

Although accounting for only about 15% of the population and nearly 30% of the social labor force, the working class has been and is creating more than 60% of GDP and contributing over 70% to the state budget.

Entering the era of national rise, the Document of the 14th Party Congress continues to emphasize the direction of consolidating grassroots Party organizations, improving the quality of party members and paying special attention to developing party members among non-state sector workers.

Resolution of the 14th Congress identified the working class as the core closely linked in the Union of Workers - Farmers - Intellectuals. In that union, intellectuals bring science and technology, workers realize it into products with high added value, while farmers ensure solid food security.

However, the explosion of social networks is revealing "gray areas" of digital safety skills gaps in the labor force. When workers are caught in "traps" of fraud, "black credit", "light jobs with high salaries"... or unintentionally spread false rumors, losses are not only limited to personal assets, but also cause industrial security instability.

Thus, protecting the Party's ideological foundation in cyberspace must ultimately start from the most humane perspective: protecting ideology is protecting peace in the livelihoods of each worker.

Digital safety education and accumulating the "people's heart formation

From that reality, I think that digital safety should not just be dry training sessions with academic definitions. Thoroughly grasping the spirit of the 14th Party Congress on Party building is truly morality, is civilization, propaganda work among workers needs to take dedication as a fulcrum.

Spreading warm stories about colleagueship and civilized behavior online will help positive information flow continuously, pushing back the bad according to the motto "taking beauty to eliminate ugliness".

Along with that, improving the quality of Party cell activities and developing Party members in non-state enterprises is the core task. Each worker Party member must be a "wave" of bravery, sensitivity to fake news and knowing how to detoxify information to maintain internal solidarity. Each responsible sharing, each polite comment is a vivid manifestation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

If the country wants to successfully transform digitally, it cannot leave the main labor force behind in digital knowledge. Besides policies to ensure jobs and housing, building "spiritual infrastructure" is vital.

Giving workers the "digital shield" of safety is the respect for human values and investment in the direct production force of the nation. When the hands of workers are both proficient in machinery and alert on the keyboard, the "people's heart battle" in cyberspace will be strengthened by the most solid ideological bravery.
