Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang accelerates the implementation of targets

News from Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union, Da Nang city on August 23rd said: implementing the plan to review the results of implementing trade union targets and tasks in 2026, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union has worked with 9 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS), focusing on assessing progress, grasping the situation of union members and workers and identifying key tasks for the last months of the year.

The content of work focuses on developing and managing union members; consolidating trade union organizations; implementing democracy at the grassroots level, dialogue, collective labor agreements; social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance policies; caring for and protecting the rights of workers; finance, emulation, initiatives and creating a source of outstanding union members to introduce to the Party.

Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union - said: through review, grassroots trade unions basically maintain a regular operation, proactively coordinate with unit and business leaders to care for life and protect the rights of workers.

Many practical activities have been implemented such as periodic health check-ups, "Hire-cooling summer", "Trade Union meals", labor regeneration resorts, occupational safety and health, first aid, fire prevention and fighting and rescue, and promotion of preferential loan programs.

Some models linking Trade Union activities with specialized characteristics have been effectively implemented such as "Doctors accompany union members and workers" at Tam Tri Quang Nam General Hospital; "One good deed for patients every day" at Duy Xuyen Regional Medical Center; "Safe culture at the workplace" at Anh Sang 7 Garment Enterprise.

Huy Hoang II Garment Co., Ltd. alone has organized 2 dialogues and maintained the collective labor agreement until September 2028.

Union member development work has achieved positive results. Tam Tri Quang Nam General Hospital has developed 42 more union members, Anh Sang 7 Garment Enterprise has developed 28 union members, raising the total number of union members developed of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union to 1,124 union members. Huy Hoang II Garment Co., Ltd. currently has 276 union members/500 employees, striving to develop 100 more union members from now until the end of the year.

To date, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union has recorded 47 initiatives and 15 outstanding union members introduced to the Party. Duy Xuyen Regional Health Center alone has introduced 6 outstanding union members, of which 3 people have been admitted to the Party, and 2 people are completing dossiers.

From now until August 28, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union continues to work with the remaining grassroots trade unions, focusing on removing difficulties, determining low targets and proposing appropriate solutions, striving to complete the highest targets and tasks of the trade union in 2026.
