Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation launches Office No. 3, managing 85 grassroots trade unions

On the afternoon of August 25, at Bac Giang Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company (Song Khe - Noi Hoang Industrial Park, Tien Phong ward), the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation launched the Office of the Industrial Park No. 3 area cluster.

Attending the program were Mr. Tran Huy Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation...

Mr. Thach Van Chung said that this is the first cluster office to be launched.

The establishment of Office No. 3 is a new step in the operating method of the trade union organization, strongly oriented towards grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center of service.

This is a direct connection address between higher-level trade unions and grassroots trade unions; promptly grasping the employment situation, life, thoughts, and aspirations of workers.

According to the plan, the Provincial Labor Federation will establish 7 offices according to clusters of industrial parks throughout the province. Each office will arrange 4 full-time trade union officials, rotating duty to be in charge of the area.

Office No. 3 manages 85 grassroots trade unions with more than 23,000 union members belonging to industrial parks: Song Khe - Noi Hoang; Yen Lu; Tan Hung; Hoa Phu. Putting the Office into operation not only shortens the distance between trade union organizations and union members and workers but also creates conditions for trade unions to accompany businesses closer, support grassroots levels to remove difficulties, promptly grasp and solve problems arising in labor relations.

For grassroots trade union officials, difficulties and obstacles in the operation process will be exchanged, guided and supported more quickly and conveniently by officials on duty at the Office.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Tran Huy Phuong acknowledged the efforts and innovations of the Provincial Labor Federation and the team of trade union officials in directing activities to the grassroots level, taking better care of union members and workers.

Mr. Tran Huy Phuong requested the Office of the cluster area of Industrial Park No. 3 to proactively and closely coordinate with the Management Board of Industrial Parks of the province and localities, closely monitor the grassroots level, and regularly grasp the production and business situation of enterprises, especially the labor relations situation.

To make the office operate substantively and effectively, Mr. Tran Huy Phuong proposed that the Provincial Labor Federation study and develop its own operating regulations, arrange a contingent of officials suitable to the requirements of tasks and local characteristics, thereby maximizing the functions and tasks of the model.
