Rights of protecting agencies and businesses from September 15, 2026

Article 6, Decree 290/2026/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 06/2013/ND-CP stipulating the protection of agencies and enterprises (effective from September 15, 2026) amending and supplementing Article 11 stipulates as follows:

Article 11. Powers of the security force of agencies and enterprises

1. Inspect and urge departments, units and officials and employees in agencies and enterprises to implement the provisions of law on security, order and internal regulations for protecting agencies and enterprises.

2. While on duty, documents, goods, and vehicles entering and leaving agencies and enterprises are inspected if there are signs of legal violations or violations of internal regulations of agencies and enterprises.

3. Conduct verification of cases and incidents occurring in agencies and enterprises under the authority assigned by the head of the agency or enterprise or at the request of a competent Police agency.

4. Refuse to perform illegal requests while performing protection duties and must report to functional agencies for handling according to the provisions of law.

Thus, from September 15, 2026, the security force of agencies and businesses will exercise their powers according to the above regulations.
