Subsidy level for non-specialized workers in neighborhoods, hamlets, and villages in Ho Chi Minh City

The Labor Law Consulting Office said: The Ho Chi Minh City People's Council has approved gratitude and support policies for non-specialized workers at the commune level; non-specialized workers, people participating in activities in neighborhoods, hamlets, villages, and residential areas.

According to the Resolution, the City will supplement funding to ensure monthly allowances for non-specialized workers in neighborhoods, hamlets, villages, and residential areas.

For neighborhoods with 1,000 households or more; hamlets, villages, residential areas with 700 households or more or belonging to key areas of national defense, borders, islands, and extremely difficult areas, the allowance level is from 2.65 to 2.7 times the basic salary/month.

The remaining neighborhoods, hamlets, villages, and residential areas are entitled to allowances ranging from 2.15 to 2.2 times the base salary/month.

These are policies that show the City's concern and recognition for the contributions of grassroots cadres who have been attached and contributed for many years; contributing to ensuring legitimate rights, creating consensus in the process of arranging the organizational structure, maintaining stability at the grassroots level and improving the operational efficiency of the political system in the area.

Thus, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council officially approved the allowance level for non-specialized workers in neighborhoods from 2.15 to 2.7 times the base salary.

The title, number, and allowance level of non-specialized personnel in neighborhoods and hamlets and the number and monthly support level of people directly participating in activities in neighborhoods and hamlets are based on Resolution 02/2024/NQ-HĐND:

Non-specialized personnel in neighborhoods and hamlets are up to 5 people, holding specific titles: Secretary of the neighborhood and hamlet Party cell; Head of the neighborhood and hamlet Fatherland Front Committee;

Secretary of the Youth Union of the neighborhood, hamlet or Head of other branches (Veteran Association, Elderly Association, Red Cross Society, Farmers' Association); Head of the Women's Union of the neighborhood, hamlet.
