Article 10, Decree 265/2026/ND-CP stipulates penalties for administrative violations in the field of thrift and waste prevention (effective from July 1, 2026) stipulates obstruction or irresponsibility in inspecting the observance and organization of the implementation of legal regulations on thrift and waste prevention by competent agencies and organizations as follows:
1. A fine of 4 million VND to 6 million VND shall be imposed for one of the following acts:
a) Not providing or providing incomplete, timely, and accurate dossiers and documents as requested by the inspection agency;
b) Failure to arrange for a person responsible to work or not participate in working or delay working with the inspection agency without a valid reason;
c) Failure to comply or incompletely comply with inspection decisions, requests, and conclusions;
d) Failure to monitor and urge the implementation of inspection conclusions,
2. Remedial measures:
a) Forced to provide complete and accurate dossiers and documents as requested by the inspection agency for the acts specified in point a, clause 1 of this Article;
b) Forced to fully comply with the decisions, requests, and inspection conclusions for the acts specified in point c, clause 1 of this Article.
Thus, from July 1, 2026, failure to provide or provide incomplete dossiers and documents on waste prevention and control may be fined up to 6 million VND.
