Tay Ninh is a locality with a particularly important strategic position, after the merger with an area of over 8,536km2, a population of about 3.25 million people, with a border of nearly 369km adjacent to 3 provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia including: Svay Rieng, Prey Veng and Tboung Khmum; has 4 international border gates, 4 national border gates, 4 sub-border gates and the entire route has been demarcated 83.57%. Therefore, people's foreign affairs work is of practical significance, directly contributing to the task of socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security and consolidating the great national unity bloc.

Promoting the core role of the Fatherland Front in the political system, in the past time, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province has proactively and closely coordinated with Party committees, authorities, armed forces and member organizations to synchronously and effectively deploy people-to-people diplomacy, achieving many outstanding results.
First of all, propaganda and mobilization work for people in border areas has been promoted in many rich forms. The whole province has organized 628 propaganda sessions with 22,300 participants, focusing on disseminating the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, and regulations on the Vietnam - Cambodia border, contributing to firmly consolidating the "people's heart formation" at the border line.

Social security, humanitarian work, and care for the lives of people in border areas and the Vietnamese community in Cambodia were widely and effectively implemented. Tay Ninh province before the merger presented 3,740 gifts, examined and distributed 730 medicines, and built 02 Great Solidarity houses with a total budget of more than 3.4 billion VND.

Long An province before the merger also directly supported 600 million VND for the Fronts of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng provinces and Khmer-Vietnamese Associations in Cambodia; at the same time, member organizations implemented many social security activities with a total budget of more than 2 billion VND, of which 3 Vietnam-Cambodia friendship houses were donated. The Provincial Front also paid attention to visiting and supporting the General Association of Vietnamese People in Cambodia, coordinating to take care of the lives of overseas Vietnamese, especially those in difficult circumstances returning home, contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc and strengthening the connection of the overseas Vietnamese community with their homeland. At the same time, cultural exchanges, sisterhoods, and people-to-people exchanges on both sides of the border were promoted, creating an atmosphere of solidarity, friendship, and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.
