Cultivating Vietnam - Cuba friendship through a collection of works by Fidel Castro Ruz
The collection of works by Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz is a valuable source of materials for researchers, training institutions and people of Vietnam and Cuba.
This afternoon (August 5th), in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department in coordination with the National Political Publishing House Truth organized the Launching Ceremony of the Collection of selected works by General Commander Fidel Castro Ruz, including 24 volumes in Spanish.
This is one of the activities on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz (August 13, 1926 - August 13, 2026) - the outstanding leader of the Cuban Revolution, a great friend, a loyal comrade of the Party, State and people of Vietnam.
Attending were Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Tran Thanh Lam; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam Rogelio Polanco Fuentes.
The collection of selected works by Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, selecting speeches, articles, interviews, messages and many important documents of President Fidel Castro Ruz throughout his vibrant and persistent revolutionary activities, arranged in historical periods, with a total volume of nearly 15,000 pages, including 4 major contents, corresponding to the development stages of the Cuban Revolution and the revolutionary life of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth - expressed his belief that the collection of selected works by Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz - will be a valuable source of materials for researchers, training institutions and people of Vietnam and Cuba, as well as readers around the world.
From there, to learn about the life, career and ideology of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, helping today's and future generations to understand more deeply about his great contributions to the Cuban revolutionary cause with the world revolutionary movement and the special Cuba-Vietnam friendship.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam Rogelio Polanco Fuentes stated clearly that the publication of the Selected Works Collection of Fidel Castro Ruz in Spanish in Vietnam is an extremely noble gesture of the Party, State and people of Vietnam for the people of Cuba. This is a meaningful tribute of the heroic Vietnamese nation - a country that Fidel Castro Ruz always deeply admired and wholeheartedly supported the cause of national liberation, national reunification and building socialism.
Right on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Fidel Castro's birth, the publication of the collection of selected works by Fidel Castro Ruz will help the young generations of Cuba, Vietnam and international friends access, research and inherit the ideological and revolutionary legacy of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz - "The soldier of ideas", the soldier who tirelessly fought for the cause of human liberation" - Ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes said.
