Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Head of the Inter-sectoral Working Group, Head of the Ministry of National Defense Steering Committee for Participation in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations (PKO) - chaired the ceremony.

Speaking to assign tasks, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang requested Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Long to pay attention to ensuring absolute safety throughout his term of office in the context of the security situation at the MINUSCA Mission recently having complex and unpredictable developments.
