Visiting the Martyrs' Cemetery to celebrate April 30 in Dong Thap

Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal reported that the visiting ceremony will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Attending were the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quoc Phong; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Van Thang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang; leaders of People's Councils, People's Committees, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Leaders of some departments, agencies, socio -political organizations, provincial armed forces and Cao Lanh city.

The provincial leaders and delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense and took a moment of silence in front of the Monument of the Fatherland in memory of the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and national reunification; burned incense in gratitude on each martyr's grave at the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery.

With deep pride and gratitude to the heroic martyrs, together with the whole country, in recent years, carrying out the work of gratitude and remembering the source of water, the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Thap province have always paid attention to and organized activities to care for war invalids, sick soldiers, martyrs' families, and families of people with revolutionary contributions.

Through 50 independent spring seasons, joining the whole country, Dong Thap province has overcome difficulties and achieved many important achievements in many fields. Inheriting the heroic revolutionary tradition of generations of ancestors, the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Thap are determined to build the province to develop more and more prosperously and civilly.
