Universities provide full-time postgraduate scholarships in 2025
In 2025, for the first time, Hanoi National University - Vietnam National University (UEB) awarded 12 full scholarships to the Master of Political Economics program.

The value of each scholarship is 58,800,000 VND for 2 years of training. The scholarship is for students who are admitted and enroll in the program according to UEB's admission methods.
Political economy is a branch of science that explains the mechanisms for distributing resources, power and benefits in society, clarifying how institutions and policies shape the economic environment and establish the behavior of market entities - from the government, businesses to consumers.
The Master of Political Economics program helps students improve their professional qualifications in the fields of policy making, strategic analysis and socio-economic management. At the same time, it will expand career opportunities in state agencies, non-governmental organizations, domestic and international enterprises.

Graduates have open job opportunities, in many fields and positions such as: Planning and policy analysis staff at state agencies, socio-political organizations, research institutes;
Experts in economic strategy and public policy consulting at enterprises, multinational corporations, international organizations and non-governmental organizations;

Researcher, lecturer, market analyst in the fields of Political Economy, Development and Public Policy.
The program is designed with the participation of a team of lecturers and experts with experience in the fields of policy analysis, economics, and business strategy, ensuring high practicality and applicablebility to a diverse professional environment.
Regarding the admission method, the school will directly consider candidates who have graduated from a university with the correct major, with an Excellent or higher score within 12 months or will consider regular admission in 3 groups:
University majors are in accordance with regulations, no additional knowledge is required);
Other relevant majors according to regulations must study additional knowledge in 2 subjects (6 credits).
University majors are not in the above two groups but have suitable majors in two different groups according to regulations: Must study additional knowledge of 5 subjects (15 credits).
In addition to recent graduates, the Master of Political Economics program at UEB is also suitable for students who are businessmen, civil servants, and those working in socio-political organizations.
The school divides the registration period into 2 phases: Phase 1 from March 15, 2025 - April 29, 2025; phase 2 from June 16, 2025 - September 30, 2025.
In addition to Political Economics, in 2025, Hanoi National University of Economics will also enroll students in other majors/specializations for Master's training, including: Economic Management; Accounting; Public Policy and Development; Business Administration; Financial Technology; International Economics; Finance - Banking; Business Administration (affiliated with St.Francis University, USA).
