Awarding the Certificate of Merit to the relatives of martyrs in Quang Tri province
The Military Region 4 Command coordinated with the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command to award the Fatherland Certificate of Merit to the martyrs' relatives.
On the afternoon of April 15, in Trung Nam commune (Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province), the Military Region 4 Command coordinated with the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command, the Vinh Linh District Military Command and local authorities to organize a ceremony to award the Certificate of Merit to the relatives of 4 martyrs who are children of their homeland who heroically sacrificed their lives in the resistance war.
According to Decision No. 437/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, the Certificate of Merit was awarded to the relatives of the martyrs: Nguyen Su Suong, Hoang Dong, Tran Xuyen and Nguyen Xuan Hoa, all from Vinh Linh district.
Specifically: Martyr Nguyen Su Suong, born in 1916, died fighting in the Southern battlefield in November 1945, while a soldier of Thien Thuat Company - local army; martyr Hoang Dong, born in 1921, holding the position of Deputy Sub-captain, Regiment 95, Binh Tri Thien subdivision, died in combat in his hometown of Vinh Nam in September 1947; martyr Tran Xuyen, born in 1924, was the Captain of Division 304, died at Dien Bien Phu front in February 1951; martyr Nguyen Xuan Hoa, born in 1932, fought in the 354th unit - local army, died while on duty and was ambushed by the enemy in Vinh Nam in April 5.0.
Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of the District Military Command and leaders of Trung Nam commune affirmed that the awarding of the Certificate is a recognition by the Party, State and People for the merits of the martyrs. This is also an opportunity to continue spreading the tradition of " use of gratitude", taking better care of the lives of families of meritorious people.
