HCMC bans trucks from entering the inner city for many days to come
Ho Chi Minh City will ban trucks from entering the inner city during the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
On April 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport said that in order to enhance traffic order and safety during the organization of programs and events to serve the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, Ho Chi Minh City will ban trucks from circulating in the inner city (the inner area is limited by the routes: Do Muoi - Le Duc Anh - Le Kha Phieu - Nguyen Van Linh - Phu My bridge approach road (overpass) - Phu My bridge - Vo Chi Cong - Nguyen Thi Dinh - Dong Van Cong - Mai Chi Tho - Vo Nguyen Giap - Xa Lo Ha Noi - Do Muoi). The following are the times of vehicle ban:
September 25: Trucks are prohibited from entering the inner city from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
September 27: Trucks are prohibited from entering the inner city from 6:00 to 11:30.
September 30: Trucks are prohibited from entering the inner city from 4:00 to 11:30.
The Department of Transport notes that drivers of vehicles must comply with the instructions of the traffic police force, traffic regulation or the instructions of the traffic signaling system on the road.
