General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping begins visit to Vietnam
At noon on April 14, the plane carrying General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and the high-ranking Chinese delegation landed at Noi Bai airport.
President Luong Cuong went to Noi Bai International Airport to welcome General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and the high-ranking Chinese delegation.

During the visit, General Secretary To Lam wrote an article "Joining hands to open a new era of development of Vietnam - China friendship" published in the People's Daily of China.
The article emphasizes that in the overall foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, peace, friendship, cooperation and development, multilateralization and diversification of foreign relations, the Party and State of Vietnam always persevere and consistently give top priority, determined to work with the Party and State of China to develop the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, the Vietnam - China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance, for the happiness of the people of the two countries, for the cause of peace and progress of all of humanity.
On the same day, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping published an article "Together in the same direction, together moving forward - Inheriting the past, continuing to write a new page for the future" in Nhan Dan newspaper.
The article emphasizes that China always considers Vietnam a priority direction in its neighborly foreign policy. We will comprehensively deepen the building of the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future of strategic significance, contributing positively to the stable peace and prosperous development of Asia and the world.
