General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife will pay a state visit to Singapore. The General Secretary and President will deliver a keynote speech at the Shangri-la Dialogue.
A statement from the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 25 said: At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam and his wife, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam and his wife and a high-level Vietnamese delegation will pay a state visit to Singapore from May 29 to May 31, 2026.
At the invitation of General Director and Executive Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies (IISS) Bastian Giegerich, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam will attend and deliver a keynote speech at the Shangri-la Dialogue on May 29, 2026.
