According to Hanoi City Police, implementing the decision of the Ministry of Public Security, from March 1, 2025, the City Police has dissolved 30 district-level police and affiliated organizations (except for the Police Station); merged the Security Police Department and the Mobile Police Regiment into the Mobile Police Department.
At the same time, the City Police deployed 30 facilities located in districts, towns and cities to carry out tasks and assigned 1 Deputy Chief of Staff to directly charge the facilities.
Up to now, Hanoi City Police has basically completed the consolidation of the organizational apparatus according to the new model and received a number of important tasks transferred from other departments and branches to the police force.
This is an important step, in which the Capital Police are always pioneers, exemplary, taking the lead, and proactively implementing the contents.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Deputy Director in charge of the operation of Hanoi City Police, requested units to urgently get to work; organize meetings, discuss, assign specific and detailed tasks to each officer and soldier; strengthen inspection work, promptly detect and rectify units, and put work into order.
