Party and State leaders, National Assembly deputies enter the Mausoleum to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh before the opening session of the First Session of the 16th National Assembly.
On the morning of April 6, before the opening of the First Session of the 16th National Assembly, the delegation of Party and State leaders, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and National Assembly deputies laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
Representatives of National Assembly delegations lay wreaths at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.
The delegation to lay wreaths and visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum included: General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Politburo member, Chairman of the 15th National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Politburo member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Party and State leaders and National Assembly deputies.
The delegation's wreath bears the words: "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".
Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, General Secretary To Lam, along with leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly and National Assembly deputies, expressed their sincere respect and remembrance for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the entire Vietnamese nation - the person who laid the foundation for the birth of the National Assembly of Vietnam and left a deep theoretical thought about building the National Assembly of the People, by the People, for the People.
The first session of the 16th National Assembly will officially open this morning, considering and resolving many important contents.
The National Assembly will conduct organizational and high-level personnel work of the State apparatus, consider and approve 8 draft laws, 1 draft legal normative resolution; and at the same time consider and decide on major national plans on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, national finance, public investment, and public debt repayment in the next 5 years.
