Hanoi women's volleyball team replaces players close to the national championship 2026 competition day

By the evening of April 5, after the technical meeting before round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship closed, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation made a final decision on the registration list of the Hanoi women's team.

Accordingly, setter Dinh Thi Van, who will not play for the Hanoi women's team in round 1, will compete in Dong Anh (Hanoi) from April 6 to April 19.

Dinh Thi Van was loaned by the Hanoi women's team coaching staff from the Kinh Bac Bac Ninh women's team.

However, the player was not named in the initial preliminary list that the Hanoi women's team sent to the Organizing Committee of the tournament. Right before the technical meeting of round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship, Dinh Thi Van was included in the official list of 14 players by the coach.

Dinh Thi Van's ineligion to compete in round 1 this year has caused the Hanoi women's team to have a change. The list of 14 official players of this team sent to the Organizing Committee to participate in round 1 is: Vi Thi Yen Nhi, Do Que Tran (2nd wing), Le Thanh Thuy, Le Thuy Linh, Vu Thi Huyen Trang (middle blocker), Nguyen Phan Khanh Linh, Nguyen Khanh Dang (libero) and Pham Thi Thanh Chuc, Bui Thi Anh Thao, Duong Ngoc Quynh Anh, Ivana Vanjak, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Nguyen Ly Thuy Vi (master blocker), Luu Thi Dieu Linh (volley).

The fact that player Dinh Thi Van is not allowed to register to play officially in the 1st round of the 2026 National Championship is regrettable.

However, for experts, teams must carefully calculate the force to prepare for competition and comply with the registration regulations of the Organizing Committee.

This year, the Hanoi women's team is a newcomer to the 2026 National Championship. Since the beginning of 2026, the Hanoi women's team has appointed Mr. Nguyen Tuan Kiet as head coach.
