Promoting entrepreneurship and creativity for high school students in Hai Phong

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Ms. Do Thi Hoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong City - said that the workshop "Start-up and Innovation Journey from High School" aims to equip high school students with knowledge and startup skills, discover and nurture students who are passionate about the field of science and technology and arouse the spirit and aspiration to start a business. The opinions and presentations of leaders, managers, and experts at the workshop on developing the startup ecosystem at Hai Phong high schools as well as at the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture.

The workshop was held directly at Thuy Huong High School (Kien Thuy District, Hai Phong) and attended online by high schools in Hai Phong City. At the workshop, delegates discussed the human resource needs in the digital age, international integration from English learning methods to scholarship application skills; startup activities of students of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture.

At the workshop, high school students also participated in discussing issues related to startups, university choice trends, human resource needs, employment after graduation from university, etc.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Ngoc Huyen - Vice Chairman in charge of the Council, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture - said that in the coming time, the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture will continue to accompany the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong City and high schools in the city in orienting and supporting high school students to start a business. Thereby, continuing to arouse the will, passion, and aspiration to start a business in children from the beginning of their high school studies so that when they become university students, their will, passion, and aspiration to start a business will be greater, and will be the foundation for them to go further on the path to becoming a business in the future.
