Information on the 2025 People's Police Academy admission
This year, the People's Police Academy recruited 530 targets (477 men, 53 women). The scope of admission in the North is calculated from Hue onwards, divided into 4 regions.
Region 1 includes the northern mountainous provinces (10 provinces): Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.
Region 2 includes the provinces and cities of the Northern Delta and Midlands (15 provinces and cities): Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh.
Region 3 includes the North Central provinces (6 provinces and cities): Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue.
The Northern Region 8 includes active service soldiers from Hue and above of units A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

Regarding the admission method, after the Ministry of Public Security has instructions for admission, the People's Police Academy will notify and update the admission plan and post it on the school's website.
This year, the Ministry of Public Security also allowed the People's Police Academy to enroll (re-admit) to train university for a second degree in Public Security from candidates with university degrees, which is 150 targets.
enrollment scope from Thua Thien Hue province onwards. In which, the enrollment quota for the whole North: 100 (10 women; 90 men). Specific targets for Ha Giang province: 50 (5 women; 45 men). As for the target for Ha Giang province, to improve the quality of admission sources, candidates from localities across the country can register to apply.
In 2025, police schools and academies will recruit a total of 2,200 new students, with an intermediate level of 300 students. Specifically, the university level recruits 2,200 quotas, applicable to subjects who are high school students, active service soldiers, citizens who have completed their service to join the People's Public Security with a discharge decision within 12 months. The intermediate level of admission is 300 and the secondary level is 850.
