The young generation nurtures great ambitions, innovates creativity, builds a self, and builds a country

On the afternoon of January 21, the 14th National Party Congress continued the discussion session in the hall on the Congress documents.

Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, presented a speech on "Strengthening education on revolutionary ideals, ethics, cultural lifestyle, fostering young people to become the outstanding successor to the Party".

According to Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Vietnamese youth today are the "digital citizen" generation, dynamic, creative, aspirational, always on the forefront of the country.

However, the globalization process and strong impact of cyberspace also pose many challenges in terms of value, lifestyle, legal awareness and political courage of a part of the young generation, requiring more drastic, methodical and effective educational solutions.

The First Secretary of the Central Youth Union proposed to continue innovating the content and methods of educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyles for the younger generation.

The focus is on implementing "3 unity" in the awareness and actions of young people: steadfast in the Party's ideals; striving to develop oneself in conjunction with family and social responsibilities; taking specific actions for the goal of building a clean, strong Party and a prosperous and happy country.

The second group of solutions focuses on grasping and orienting public opinion. Accordingly, this work is being implemented synchronously through the press, grassroots reporting systems, public opinion collaborators, sociological surveys, penetration of youth forums on social networks and application of big data and artificial intelligence.

The third group of solutions is to continue to consider revolutionary action movements as a "great space" for education, training and gathering young people.

Accordingly, movements need to aim for real results, based on data and specific figures; prioritize models that are easy to replicate, have reasonable costs, and have a clear impact on people's lives.

The fourth group of solutions focuses on actively participating in building and protecting the Party and the political system; enhancing the role of the Youth Union in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints.

The fifth group of solutions emphasizes the task of building a strong and comprehensive Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, truly the political core of the youth movement and a trusted companion of the youth. Each organization of the Youth Union registered "each quarter has a big result", "each year has two breakthroughs".

Along with that, it is necessary to build a team of pioneering, creative and close Youth Union cadres; strictly implement the exemplary mechanism; actively participate in training, fostering and providing quality young cadres for the Party and the political system.

With the responsibility of his generation towards the great fortune of the country, Mr. Bui Quang Huy stated that the young generation of Vietnam will always be steadfast in revolutionary ideals, nurture great ambitions, be pioneers in studying, working, mastering science and technology, innovating and creating, transforming digitally, establishing a self, and fighting for the country.

Vietnamese youth are ready to go anywhere, do whatever the Fatherland needs, join hands, and unanimously successfully carry out the country's development goals by 2030.

At the same time, strategic autonomy, self-reliance, confidence, and strong progress in the era of national growth for peace, independence, democracy, wealth, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadfastly moving towards socialism.
