Thanh Hoa - Due to favorable weather and extended holidays on April 30 and May 1, the number of visitors to Thanh Hoa for resorts reached a "huge" number.
On May 3, information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province said that the April 30 and 1.5 holidays (from April 30 to May 4) will last for a long time, taking place in favorable weather, so the number of tourists coming to Thanh Hoa is quite large.
Accordingly, the total number of tourists to Thanh Hoa reached about 1.6 million, an increase of 5.3% over the same period last year. Of which, overnight guests reached nearly 1 million, accounting for 62.5% of the total number of guests; total revenue from tourism is estimated at about VND 4,170 billion (up 9.6% over the same period in 2024).
Tourist attractions and areas in Thanh Hoa welcome a large number of visitors such as: Sam Son 916,000; Hoang Hoa 91,200; Nghi Son 89,300; Ba Thuoc 65,100; Thanh Hoa City 65,000; Thanh Nha Ho (Vinh Loc district) 15,000; Cam Luong Fish stream (Cam Thuy district) 14,500; Lam Kinh (Tho Xuan district) 10,500; Ben En (Nhu Thanh district) 10,000.
The occupancy rate of rooms and rooms during the holiday season reached nearly 70%. During the holiday, there were no incidents at tourist attractions and areas in Thanh Hoa.
