New regulations on the number of members of the Civil Defense Team in communes and wards
Hanoi - The city established 5,536 Civil Defense Teams, each team has 10 - 20 people.
On January 12, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan signed a decision regulating the number of Civil Defense Teams and the number of members of the Civil Defense Teams in communes and wards in Hanoi.
Accordingly, the city established 5,536 Civil Defense Teams in Hanoi (each village and residential group established 1 Civil Defense Team); the number of members in 1 Civil Defense Team was from 10 to 20 people (including 1 Captain; 1 Deputy Captain; 8 to 18 members).
For villages and residential groups with 500 households or more, there are a maximum of 18 members; villages and residential groups with 350 households to less than 500 households with a maximum of 13 members; villages and residential groups with less than 350 households with a maximum of 8 members.
In case it is necessary to increase or decrease the number of Civil Defense Teams and the number of members of the Civil Defense Teams, the Chairman of the People's Committees of communes and wards shall report to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for consideration and decision to specifically adjust the number of Civil Defense Teams and the number of members of the Civil Defense Teams to ensure compliance with the provisions of Point c, Clause 1 and Clause 2, Article 4 of Resolution No. 45/2025/NQ-HDND dated September 29, 2025 of the Hanoi People's Council.
