Quang Binh prepares accommodation for officials after merging with Quang Tri
Quang Binh - The province proactively surveyed and renovated the old headquarters into a public housing to welcome officials from Quang Tri to work when the proposed merger was approved.
The Resolution of the 11th Central Conference clearly states the list of expected names and political and administrative centers of 34 provinces and cities after the merger. Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces will be merged and have an administrative center in Quang Binh.
The People's Committee of Quang Binh province has directed relevant departments and branches to review facilities to prepare accommodation and accommodation for cadres, civil servants and public employees of Quang Tri province who will work in Quang Binh after the new administrative center is located here.
According to the Department of Finance of Quang Binh province, the unit has conducted a survey and assessed the current status of many public offices in ineffective use or vacant in the area. Some initial locations considered include: Economic College, the old headquarters of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the headquarters of the central unit that is no longer in use.
These projects are being considered for converting their functions into public housing, ensuring basic living conditions for cadres from Quang Tri to work. Facilities with inappropriate or degraded structures will be renovated and repaired to better serve accommodation purposes.
The Quang Binh Department of Finance further informed that the locality determined to welcome and create the best conditions for cadres of Quang Tri province starting from "where to eat, where to live".
Even thoroughly grasp the spirit and attitude of local cadres to ensure harmonious and effective coordination after the merger.
Currently, the proposals and survey images are being compiled and reported to the provincial leaders for consideration.
