Nghe An - The first visitors of 2026 were welcomed at Vinh airport, opening a series of local tourism promotion activities.
On the morning of January 1, 2026, the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Vietnam Airlines Corporation, Vinh International Airport and Vinh Airport to organize a flight welcoming to the first tourists to Nghe An in the new year. The event marks the launch of local tourism activities in 2026.
Previously, on the evening of December 31, 2025, at the Light Square - VinWonders Cua Hoi, the countdown program to welcome the new year 2026 took place vibrantly, estimated to attract more than 50,000 people and tourists to attend. The festive atmosphere and art performances create highlights, spreading the image of a dynamic, friendly and hospitable Nghe An.
