Nghe An budget revenue breaks out, exceeding 57.5% of the estimate
Nghe An - In 2025, the total state budget revenue of the province will reach VND28,569 billion, exceeding the estimate by 57.5%.
On December 30, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee announced that it had issued a press release on the socio-economic, national defense and security situation in December and the whole year of 2025. According to the report, the state budget revenue of the whole province in 2025 is estimated at VND28,569 billion, exceeding the estimate by 57.5% and increasing by 11.8% over the same period.
In the economic field, agricultural, forestry and fishery production maintains its increase. The area of planting is estimated at 337,411 hectares; aquatic product output reached 300,838 tons, up 12.9%. The area of concentrated planted forests reaches more than 25,000 hectares. The industrial production index for the whole year increased by about 17%, many key industries grew such as stone mining, sugar, cement, electricity production.
Total retail sales of goods and service revenue is estimated at more than VND 135,197 billion, up 13.82%. Tourists reached 9.9 million, tourism revenue is estimated at VND 11,921 billion.
Regarding investment, the province has newly granted 76 projects, adjusted 198 projects, total newly granted capital and increased by about 40,858 billion VND, FDI exceeding 1 billion USD. Disbursement of public investment capital reached 74.83% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.
In the fields of culture and society, education, health, social security and preparation for Tet goods are being implemented. The plan to take care of Binh Ngo Tet 2026 for people and policy beneficiaries is being implemented. State management, digital transformation and preparation for the Provincial People's Council meeting at the end of the year have been promoted, 32 reports and 44 thematic resolutions have been approved.
National defense - security, social order and safety continue to be guaranteed. Forces strengthen crime prevention and control, handle violations of fireworks, ensure traffic safety and fire prevention and fighting before the 2026 Lunar New Year.
