Nghe An Chairman requests transparent and non-negative teacher recruitment
Nghe An - The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested absolute transparency in teacher recruitment, not allowing negativity to occur.
On December 30, information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that the province had just held a regular meeting in December 2025 to evaluate the results in 2025 and deploy key tasks in 2026.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai assigned the Department of Education and Training to complete the work of recruiting teachers in a public and transparent manner, "absolutely do not let negativity happen", and at the same time assign responsibility to the head if any violations occur.
The meeting was connected online to 130 commune and ward connecting points. The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the positive results in socio-economic development, national defense and security in 2025; at the same time, requested to clarify the "bottlenecks" in disbursing public investment capital, collecting the budget and operating local governments at two levels.
Regarding the tasks for 2026, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned departments and branches to advise on completing targets, estimates and public investment plans before December 31, 2025; developing a growth scenario for each quarter; establishing a working group to urge progress. The province continues to implement 7 strategic resolutions of the Politburo and prepare for the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Councils at all levels.
The Provincial People's Committee requested to take care of social security during the Lunar New Year, stabilize the market, beautify the urban area, and ensure traffic safety. The Provincial Police deploy a peak period to handle violations during the Lunar New Year and Spring Festival 2026; The Provincial Military Command organized a military handover ceremony in accordance with regulations.
In the context of the teacher recruitment period attracting great attention from the public, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai has repeatedly directed to tighten the recruitment process.
On December 9, at the thematic meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the recruitment process must be absolutely objective, without any intervention affecting the results.
On the afternoon of December 11, at the 35th Session of the Provincial People's Council, he continued to affirm that recruitment must be transparent; writing exams, no interviews, except in cases of attraction.
Implementing the direction, on December 11, 2025, Nghe An Department of Education and Training issued Notice No. 04, adjusting the recruitment form from multiple-choice questions to writing exams.
According to Plan No. 3456/KH-SGDDT dated November 14, 2025, Nghe An will recruit 829 positions for kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools, including: 780 teacher quotas, 49 school employee quotas (accounting, clerical, library, laboratory equipment, school health, teaching).
This is the first time that teacher recruitment has been assigned directly to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training. The adjustment of the exam process and tightening supervision are considered to show the determination to recruit and prevent negativity early and from afar.
