Nam Dinh changes the plan to name communes and wards, not in order
Nam Dinh - After grasping public opinion, localities in Nam Dinh have changed the plan to name communes and wards without consecutive numbers.
According to the Project on arranging commune-level administrative units of Nam Dinh province in 2025, on April 24, the expected names of the new 57 communes and wards are as follows:
Nam Dinh City
Nam Dinh Ward: Merge Loc Vuong, Vi Xuyen, Tran Hung Dao, Quang Trung, Cua Bac, Nang Tinh, Cua Nam Wards and My Phuc Commune.
Thien Truong ward: Merge My Tan, My Trung communes and Loc Ha ward.
Dong A ward: Merge Loc Hoa ward, My Thang commune and My Ha commune.
Vi Khe ward: Merge Nam Phong ward and Nam Dien commune (Nam Truc district).
Thanh Nam Ward: Merge My Xa Ward and Dai An Commune (Vu Ban District).
Truong Thi ward: Merging Truong Thi ward and Thanh Loi commune (Vu Ban district).
Hong Quang ward: Merge Nam Van ward, Nghia An commune and Hong Quang commune (Nam Truc district).
