Cao Bang Provincial Police have achieved many outstanding results in ensuring security and order in 2025
On December 18, Cao Bang Provincial Police held a conference to summarize the work in 2025, deploy tasks in 2026 and launch the emulation movement "For National Security" in 2026.
In 2025, under the leadership and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Cao Bang Provincial Police have successfully completed the task of ensuring political security, social order and safety, contributing to effectively serving the socio-economic development of the locality.
The police force proactively grasps the situation, absolutely protects the safety of important political and social events, major holidays and working groups of Party and State leaders.
In the fight against crime, the Provincial Police have investigated and clarified 238/239 criminal cases, reaching a rate of 99.6%; 100% of very serious and especially serious cases were discovered.
The authorities discovered 87 gambling cases with an amount of over 27 billion VND, preventing the formation of gangs and organized crime groups; discovered and handled 335 cases and 429 subjects related to economic crimes, corruption, and the environment.
In the field of drug prevention and control, the Provincial Police discovered and arrested 312 cases, 448 subjects; seized more than 16 heroin cakes, along with many synthetic drugs and alcohol; prosecuted 293 cases, 433 defendants.
For high-tech crimes, the police force discovered 94 cases, prosecuted 56 cases, 107 defendants; successfully dismantled Project 325L, prosecuted 50 defendants, and appropriated more than 700 billion VND from over 400 victims.
State management of social order and safety continues to be strengthened. The provincial police collected over 38,500 civil servant identification records, more than 58,000 electronic identification records; mobilized the recovery of 511 guns and 674 bullets.
In the field of traffic safety and order, the whole province handled 11,888 violations, fined over 39 billion VND; traffic accidents decreased in all three criteria.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Phan Thang An acknowledged and praised the outstanding results of the provincial police force in 2025; suggested continuing to proactively grasp the situation, launch peak periods of attack, suppress all types of crimes, especially high-tech crimes, economic crimes and drugs, maintaining stable security and order in the area.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were awarded Medals and Certificates of Merit by the President, Prime Minister and all levels and sectors; Cao Bang Provincial Police was awarded the Emulation Flag for the "For National Security" movement by the Ministry of Public Security in 2025.
