Awarding the First Class Medal of Merit to the Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police

On December 17, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that on December 15 and 16, in Hanoi, the Central Party Committee of Public Security, Ministry of Public Security held the 81st National Public Security Conference.

The conference was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security.

At the conference, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police was honored to receive the Flag "Leading Unit in the Emulation Movement for National Security" in 2025 from the Ministry of Public Security. Individually, Major General To Anh Dung, Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, was honored to be awarded the First Class Medal of Military Exploit by the Prime Minister.

According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, these are noble awards from the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security, recognizing the outstanding achievements and feats of the collective and individuals of the Provincial Police force in fighting, serving the fight and building the People's Public Security force, making an important contribution to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

In 2025, Thanh Hoa Police force has promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactively advised on solutions to remove 19 "bottlenecks" in implementing Resolution No. 57 and Plan No. 02; effectively solving 5 groups of complicated issues related to political security, mineral management, slow-progressing projects, key projects in Nghi Son Economic Zone and the implementation of the 2-level local government model.

The Provincial Police force proactively identified all types of crimes, focused on directing drastic and synchronous solutions for prevention, combat and suppression, thereby continuing to positively change the security and order situation. Social order crimes decreased by 36.86% compared to 2024. The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police is honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

Thanh Hoa is also the first and only locality in the country to complete the collection of 100% of DNA samples from martyrs' relatives, in which the information of 7 martyrs has been identified; and is also in the group of localities leading the country in providing and implementing online public services.

With outstanding achievements, in 2025, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police will have more than 4,000 collectives and individuals commended by all levels. Of which, 1 collective was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, 1 collective was awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal, 12 individuals were awarded the Medal of Honor and the Medal of bravery, 33 Medals for the Fatherland Protection. Thanh Hoa Provincial Police is also honored to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag from the Ministry of Public Security.
