The Vietnam Fatherland Front has the right to submit draft laws and draft decrees

On May 7, the National Assembly listened to the Draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

Presenting the report, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh said that the Committee determined that the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution consists of 2 articles.

Article 1 includes 8 amendments and supplements to a number of provisions of the 2013 Constitution on the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, administrative units and local government organizations.

Article 2 includes 3 provisions on effective implementation and transitional provisions.

Regarding the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations prescribed in Article 9 and Article 84 of the 2013 Constitution, the National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh informed, to clarify the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, emphasizing the position as the center of the great unity bloc, ensuring the legal basis for organizing the organizational structure of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization, supplementing the political organization functions, principles of organization and operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Article 9 to ensure consistent with the new organizational model after arranging socio -political organizations under the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

At the same time, it is stipulated that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has the right to submit draft laws and draft decrees in Clause 1, Article 84 of the 2013 Constitution to agree with the content of amending and supplementing Article 9 mentioned above.

Regarding the Vietnamese Trade Union prescribed in Article 10 of the 2013 Constitution, on the basis of inheriting the current provisions of the Constitution on the position, the role of trade union organization and ensuring consistency with the expected content of amendments and supplements in Article 9 of the Constitution in 2013, the Committee proposed to amend and supplement Article 10 in the direction of affirming that the Vietnamese Trade Union is the political organization of the Vietnamese working class and the Vietnamese workers' class.

At the same time, it added the task of the Vietnam Trade Union of representing workers at the national level in labor relations and international relations on trade unions to suit the context of international economic integration.
