Yen Tu Spring Festival, the largest ever, is ready

The Yen Tu Spring Festival 2026 opening ceremony takes place on February 26, 2026 (10th day of Tet) at Truc Lam Palace, Yen Tu Relic and Scenic Area, Yen Tu ward, Quang Ninh province, with a scale of about 5,000 people.

In which, the Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhist Exhibition takes place from February 25 to March 4, 2026 at Khai Tam Zen Mirror, Yen Tu Relic Site.

The exhibition space introduces documents, images, and artifacts about the formation and development of the Truc Lam Zen sect, along with an antique display area of the Tran Dynasty, contributing to clarifying the historical, cultural and ideological values of the Zen sect imbued with Vietnamese identity.

OCOP Fair - Food Festival held from February 25 - April 3 in the Ha Kieu 1 Bus Station area, with over 100 booths displaying OCOP products, agricultural products, handicrafts and typical local cuisine.

The "Yen Tu - source of wisdom" retreat takes place from February 24-26 at Truc Lam Palace, with a scale of about 3,000 Buddhists.

Regarding the organization of the Yen Tu Spring Festival, it is necessary to implement it on a large scale, methodically, imbued with the colors of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect, spreading the value of the Yen Tu World Cultural Heritage to the people and tourists at home and abroad.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh assigned the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board to develop a plan to welcome at least 1 million tourists in 2026, to be completed before March 3.

Yen Tu Spring Festival lasts for 3 months and is one of the largest and longest Spring festivals in the country, with the number of visitors reaching millions in just 3 months of the festival.
