Ho Chi Minh City leaders offer flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh

On the morning of May 19, the delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by Politburo Member, Secretary of the City Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Tran Luu Quang performed a flower offering ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Statue Park on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street (Saigon ward).

The event takes place to commemorate the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026) and the 115th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911 - May 6, 2026).

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered President Ho Chi Minh a flower basket bearing the words: "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh", expressing deep gratitude to the genius leader of the Party and people of Vietnam, the national liberation hero, a world cultural figure who dedicated his whole life to the cause of fighting for national independence, freedom and happiness of the people.

Also on the same morning, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee organized a ceremony to commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style in 2026.
