Lam Dong supports an additional year of rent and travel for officials working far away
Lam Dong - The Provincial People's Council passed a resolution to support housing rent and travel expenses for officials and employees who have to work far away after arranging administrative units.
On May 12, the 11th Lam Dong Provincial People's Council held its second session (specialized session), adopting 8 important resolutions related to public investment, land and personnel work.
Notably, the Provincial People's Council has passed a resolution stipulating policies to support cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers after arranging administrative units in the province.
According to the resolution, officials and employees are supported with accommodation rent of 3 million VND/person/month and travel expenses support of 2 million VND/person/month.
The subjects of application include cadres, civil servants, public employees, contract workers at Party and State agencies, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations; public non-business units and mass organizations assigned tasks at the provincial level in Dak Nong and Binh Thuan before merging, who must be transferred to work at the Lam Dong Provincial Political - Administrative Center after arrangement.
In addition, the province also supports accommodation rent of 1 million VND/person/month for cases with a distance from the current residence to the new workplace of 30km or more.
Regarding travel support, cases with a distance from the residence to the new workplace from 15km to less than 30km are supported with 1 million VND/person/month; from 30km to less than 50km is supported with 1.5 million VND/person/month; from 50km or more is supported with 2 million VND/person/month.
The support policy application period is from May 2026 to the end of June 2027.
