Hung Yen strives to complete the removal of temporary houses before May 31
Hung Yen - On April 23, the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province held a meeting to assess the situation and progress of the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, as of April 23, the whole province of Hung Yen has 1,182/1,447 households (reaching 82%) that have started construction and repaired houses, of which 552 households have been newly built and 630 households have been repaired; 420 households have been completed, of which 87 households have been newly built and 333 households have been repaired.Many localities have a high rate of households that have started construction such as: Tien Lu district reached 100%; An Thi district reached 97%; Van Lam district reached 95%...
At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches and localities pointed out a number of difficulties that need to be focused on resolving such as: Procedures for funding support, determining land origin, granting construction permits...
and at the same time determined to strive to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses according to the set plan.
The delegates reviewed and approved the draft: Working regulations of the Provincial Steering Committee; Notice of assignment of tasks to members of the Provincial Steering Committee; Decision on the completion of the Provincial Steering Committee's Support Team; Plan to inspect and urge the implementation of support for the construction of new and repair of temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province in 2025.Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia praised the positive results in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in localities.
At the same time, it is required that in the coming time, departments, branches and localities closely follow the progress, proactively and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. Strictly implement the weekly and periodic reporting regime on the progress of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses to the Provincial Steering Committee. Strengthen information and propaganda work, creating consensus in society on the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Mobilize social resources so that all people and businesses can join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
