More than 2,000 Lao Cai officials visit Yen Bai after the merger

Among the moving cadres, there are 418 people from the party and mass organizations and 1,728 people from the government, expected to move in 3 phases.

Phase 1 before September 1, 2025, it is expected that 815 cadres will move. Of which, there are 97 department leaders and equivalent.

In the second phase in the fourth quarter of 2026, it is expected that 650 cadres will be moved. Of which, there are 8 department leaders and equivalent.

In the third phase in the fourth quarter of 2027, it is expected that 481 cadres will be moved. Among them, there are 3 department leaders and equivalent.

After 3 movements, except for 200 cadres staying in Lao Cai due to the need for their duties to be attached to the area, the remaining more than 2,000 cases have corresponding needs for offices, most of them have needs for public housing or funding to support renting houses for individuals/households at the new Political - Administrative Center.

The plan also includes the handover of assets such as office equipment, records, documents, and public cars; at the same time, the requirement is set out to purchase new equipment to meet working conditions for officers moving there.

At the same time, it mentioned the number of students who need to transfer schools for their children among the staff in the transportation area, the total of the 3 rounds is over 730 students.
