More than 110,000 policy beneficiaries in Khanh Hoa receive Tet gifts from the Party and State
Khanh Hoa - The giving of Tet gifts by the Party and State to subjects according to Resolution No. 418/NQ-CP of the Government is being implemented by localities.
On January 2, the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province organized a gift-giving ceremony from the Party and State on the occasion of the 14th National Congress of the Party and the Lunar New Year 2026 for policy beneficiaries.
The gift giving is carried out in accordance with Resolution No. 418/NQ-CP dated December 28, 2025 of the Government.
Accordingly, 3 cases of receiving gifts worth 400,000 VND in cash or money transfers include people with meritorious services to the revolution according to the Ordinance on Incentives for Meritorious People; social protection beneficiaries according to Decree 20/2021/ND-CP; social pensioners according to Decree 176/2025/ND-CP, including orphans, homeless children or being cared for at protection facilities.
In case a person belongs to two or more groups of people, they will only receive one gift.
The Department of Culture - Social Affairs, Nam Nha Trang Ward has implemented giving gifts to people since December 31, 2025 and completed today, January 2, 2026.
The cash gift giving ceremony was organized by the Department of Culture and Society at 5 locations in the ward. Of which, the number of cases of people with revolutionary contributions is 800 people; social subjects are 3,639 people. The total amount is 1.779 billion VND.
In Bac Nha Trang ward, the total number of people receiving gifts on this occasion is 2,236, with a total cost of 894.4 million VND.
Payment work is organized publicly, with coordination between ward and residential groups.
According to Decision 2814/QD-TTg dated December 28, 2025, Khanh Hoa has 17,505 people with revolutionary contributions and 92,534 people subject to social protection and social pension (excluding those receiving care and support) receiving gifts from the Party and State on this occasion.
The total budget allocated by the Central Government to the province to give gifts to the Party and State on the occasion of the 14th National Congress of the Party and the Lunar New Year 2026 is more than 44 billion VND.
In addition to the Central Government's policy, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also issued a resolution to support many groups of people before the holidays and Tet in 2026, with the support level for the Lunar New Year 2026 from 400,000 VND to 1.5 million VND/person.
In which, workers directly collecting garbage at Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company will receive a support of 1.5 million VND.
In addition, during the 4 days of Lunar New Year, the province will provide an additional 100,000 VND/person/day in food allowances for those who are being cared for at social protection facilities in the area.
