The image of elephants will be a highlight of the coffee festival
Dak Lak - The Buon Don Elephant Association will contribute to creating a highlight, attracting the attention of tourists when coming to Dak Lak province to attend the coffee festival.
On the morning of February 26, in Dak Lak province, the Organizing Committee of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 held a press conference to inform about the festival.
Compared to the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2023, this year's event will have new highlights.
For example, the OCOP Coffee and Products Exhibition Fair; Speciality roast coffee contest; International Trade Conference - Connecting, raising the level of Vietnamese Coffee; Coffee farm "Accompanying, Sharing" at the historical - cultural relic site of CADA Shelter, Krong Pac district...
At the press conference, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper asked the organizing committee about the implementation of a series of elephant-related activities in Buon Don district, because elephants are an animal closely associated with the culture and spiritual life of the people of Dak Lak province in particular and the Central Highlands region in general. This activity is of great interest to domestic and foreign tourists.
Responding to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Lai Duc Dai, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, commented that this year's Buon Don Elephant Association will have many special activities. Including a welcoming art program, a wharf worship ceremony, a health worship ceremony, a makeup contest... for friendly tourism. All of these activities are associated with elephants.
"The organizing committee has calculated many detailed and methodical plans and scenarios to create the best impression for domestic and foreign tourists. Thereby, contributing to helping tourists and local people understand, love and protect this animal more," Mr. Dai added.
