Recently, mass mobilization work in ethnic minority areas has been of interest to the authorities of Krong Nang district. This process aims to successfully implement the goals and tasks of the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

From 2021 to 2024, mass mobilization work has achieved many positive changes, political security, order, and social safety have been guaranteed, and the material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities has been improved.

Mr. Ly Luk Bkrong (in Ea Ho commune, Krong Nang district) shared that the place where he lives is one of the areas with a large number of ethnic minorities.

"In recent years, many people have been propagandized and mobilized by commune officials to change their thinking and living habits. Since then, many people have been trained in vocational skills, supported with knowledge of animal husbandry and farming to develop household economy" - Mr. Ly Luk Mekong said.

According to Mr. Ly Luk Bkrong, from 2021 to 2024, many ethnic minorities in the commune have risen out of poverty sustainably. People's lives are getting better and better.

"In many activities in local cultural houses, we were also informed by staff about policies for ethnic minorities. We are very happy to have the support of the Party and the State for development," Mr. Ly Luk Bkrong added.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Thinh - Head of Ea Dah Commune Health Station, Krong Nang District - shared that in recent years, the unit has worked with local authorities to organize mass mobilization to propagate to ethnic minorities the harmful effects of many types of epidemics.

Thereby, helping to change people's awareness of health protection, sending their children for regular vaccination. On the other hand, the unit also helps people proactively prevent many types of infectious diseases, ensure health to focus on economic development and sustainable poverty reduction.

Dissemination and education of the law among the people

According to the People's Committee of Krong Nang district, in 2024, the district will be assigned about 1 billion VND to implement the work of commendation, honoring advanced models and promoting the role of prestigious people in the area.

In addition, the authorities also disseminate and educate the law in the community to ethnic minorities in the area.

Mr. Ho Minh Tuy - Head of the Ethnic Affairs Department of Krong Nang District - commented: "Through training courses and dissemination of laws, many people have grasped the policies and guidelines of the Party and the legal policies of the State".

In particular, district and commune-level cadres also go to every alley, knocking on every house to carry out mass mobilization work. From there, change the mindset of doing business, developing production for households, overcoming difficulties, escaping poverty, getting rich" - Mr. Tuy affirmed.

"At the same time, many prestigious people in the locality also support the authorities in propagating and ensuring security and order in the locality. Thereby, people will not listen to false arguments" - Mr. Tuy added.
