Hanoi informs about the progress of site clearance to build 7 bridges across the Red River
Hanoi - Wards and communes are focusing on implementing land acquisition and site clearance to build a series of bridges across the Red River.
In 2025, Hanoi has organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 7 bridges across the Red River.
By early 2026, the city had completed site clearance (GPMB) for 2 bridges including Hong Ha and Me So bridges (under the Component 3 project of Ring Road 4 in Hanoi Capital Region).
The remaining 5 bridges are being synchronously deployed in many wards and communes, with large areas of land acquisition, related to residential land, agricultural land, public land, religious land and national defense land.
According to the Hanoi People's Committee, localities have developed specific plans and roadmaps, clearly defining the completion progress milestones for each project and each area, basically meeting the general requirements of the city.
Of which, Tu Lien Bridge has received about 28.31 hectares out of a total of 62.54 hectares; the areas of Tay Ho, Hong Ha, Bo De and Dong Anh are all committed to a specific completion date, no later than the first quarter of 2026.

Ngoc Hoi Bridge has completed site clearance in Bat Trang Commune; Thanh Tri and Nam Phu Communes have approved compensation and support plans and committed to completing before January 10, 2026.
Tran Hung Dao Bridge, Thuong Cat Bridge and Van Phuc Bridge are being focused on by localities with clear progress milestones, linking the responsibility of the head with the implementation results.
Regarding the Tran Hung Dao bridge project, Chairman of Hong Ha Ward People's Committee Le Hong Thang said that the project will be implemented in the period from 2025 - 2027.
Based on that time frame, the Ward People's Committee has planned to implement land acquisition and site clearance, expected to be implemented within 6 - 9 months.
According to the plan, before February 15, 2026, the ward will complete the investigation, confirm the origin of land, population, household registration and publicize the resettlement plan, the public disclosure period is 10 days. After this time, the Ward People's Committee will continue to organize dialogues with the people to further resolve the problems.
In order for the project to be implemented on schedule, the People's Committee of Hong Ha Ward hopes to receive consensus and support from households.
Governments at all levels are committed to fully and promptly implementing regimes and policies, ensuring the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people at the best level as prescribed.

The investment project to build Ngoc Hoi bridge and access roads at both ends of the bridge is of special importance in enhancing traffic connectivity between the southern area of Hanoi capital and Hung Yen province and neighboring localities, contributing to reducing pressure on existing bridges, promoting socio-economic development of the whole region.
In Hanoi, the project is located in 3 communes of Bat Trang, Thanh Tri and Nam Phu.
The leader of Nam Phu Commune People's Committee said that the local government identified site clearance as a key political task, requiring high concentration and methodical methods.
The commune has developed a detailed plan, clearly assigning responsibilities to each department; promoting propaganda, dialogue, and publicizing compensation and support plans so that people clearly understand policies and guidelines, thereby creating consensus during the implementation process.
By the end of 2025, Nam Phu Commune People's Committee has handed over 96.2% of the site to the investor. Specifically, 158 households have received compensation, support and handed over the site with a total area of 55,398.8m2.
Currently, there are 51 households, corresponding to 3 plots of land with an area of 2,172.2m2, continuing to be mobilized by the commune, completing documents and approving compensation and support plans according to regulations, expected to complete payment in January 2026.
