Hanoi dismantles, relocates works, hands over the site of National Highway 6
Hanoi - National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section, is widened to 50-60 m, many bridges on the route will also be built.
National Highway 6 is a vital axis, connecting Hanoi with Hoa Binh (now Phu Tho) and the Northwestern provinces. In fact, National Highway 6 through Hanoi has been degraded and overloaded for many years, causing frequent traffic jams and accidents.
To solve the above situation, at the end of 2022, the Hanoi People's Committee started the project to expand National Highway 6 from Ba La to Xuan Mai with a length of about 21.7 km.
The starting point of the project is located at km14 in Ba La, Ha Dong district (now Yen Nghia ward); the end point is km38, Xuan Mai town, Chuong My district (now Xuan Mai commune).
The project has 5 construction packages, including items: Synchronous construction of roadbed, water supply and drainage, technical cable cars, lighting, trees, 8 road bridges, 1 newly built box culvert.
The project has a total investment of over VND9,590 billion, invested by the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, implemented in the period of 2022-2027.
With the motto "only discuss work, not backtracking", Chuong My ward is determined to complete the counting and handover of the National Highway 6 section passing through the Yen Phuc residential group and Phuc Tien TDP before the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026, contributing to speeding up the progress of the National Highway 6 renovation and upgrading project, Ba La - Xuan Mai section.
Mr. Trinh Duy Oai - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee emphasized: Site clearance will be implemented in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring the harmony of interests of the State, people and businesses. The relevant mechanisms and policies will be sent in writing directly by relevant agencies to each unit and household to ensure publicity and transparency.
Enterprises and households expressed their consensus and high consensus with the project's policy. Some businesses also proposed and recommended to facilitate the relocation process, such as: Ha Dong Construction Materials Mechanical Company proposed to create conditions to relocate the office to the back; Ha Dong Mechanical Company hopes to combine the renovation of the office; Hieu Mai warehouse with a large volume of goods facing difficulties in moving but committed to making efforts to hand over the site on time as prescribed...
In the spirit of consensus, businesses and households have signed a record of the measurement, committed to voluntarily dismantling the project, and relocating materials to hand over the site for project construction.
The completion of site clearance on National Highway 6 not only contributes to ensuring the progress of the City's key projects, but also creates favorable conditions for socio-economic development, reducing traffic congestion and environmental pollution in the ward.
