Commenting via VNeID, 99% of people approve of amending the Constitution

On May 8, the Ministry of Public Security held a conference to disseminate policies and orientations for amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution in the People's Public Security.

According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, at the conference, Major General Pham Cong Nguyen - Director of the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative and Judicial Reform, Ministry of Public Security - announced the Resolutions of the National Assembly on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

The conference also heard Colonel Vu Van Tan - Director of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Ministry of Public Security - thoroughly grasp the Plan "Organizing public consultation on the draft amendments and supplements to the 2013 Constitution via the VNeID application".

Accordingly, from May 6, 2025, people can access the content of the draft amendment to the Constitution and comment on VNeID with a few simple steps.

Although it has only been implemented for 2 days, VNeID has recorded 6,405 opinions of people participating, of which 6,343 people approved (accounting for 99%).

Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung requested the Directors of the Public Security of provinces and centrally run cities to directly direct the Commune-level Public Security Forces to mobilize and guide people to contribute comments on amending and supplementing the Constitution, encourage and set a target of 90% of citizens with level 2 electronic identification accounts to comment on the VNeID application.

At the same time, direct professional units and functional units to ensure absolute political security, order, and social safety during the process of collecting public opinions, sectors, and levels and during the process of amending and supplementing the 2013 Constitution.
