Gold price peaks above 115 million VND/tael, people in Ho Chi Minh City still buy

According to gold expert Tran Duy Phuong - Director of Golden Fund Gold and Gemstone Company, gold prices are currently supported by concerns surrounding trade tensions, especially the tariffs that the US may apply to other countries.

The market is currently closely monitoring each move from US President Donald Trump as well as the reaction from China. If in the coming time, the two sides show signs ofuongency or reach a customs negotiation agreement, causing this precious metal to turn around and decrease sharply.

At 3:30 p.m. on April 16, in Ho Chi Minh City, the price of SJC gold bars was purchased by Saigon Jewelry Company SJC at VND 113.0-115.5 million/tael (buy in - sell out). DOJI Group listed at 112.0-114.5 (buy - sell).

The price of gold rings at DOJI is listed at 110.2-113.2 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out). Saigon Jewelry Company SJC listed 110.8-113.8 (buy in - sell out).
